| I have a Shih Tzu named Tehya who I *think* has E.F. She does the freezing with the arched back, and although she doesn't do the rolling or somersaulting, she does spin. She also does the deerstalker stance. I'm not entirely sure that it's EF, but it seems closer than anything else I've come across. She also has epilepsy that is controlled by medication. Her vet thought that these recent fits were caused by Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I don't believe that that's the cause. All of this to say, the cost of diagnosing and treating whatever she has is more than I can afford. Tehya is like my child and it breaks my heart to see her this way. Her name means precious and that's exactly what she is. As much as I want to keep her with me, I know that doing so would just be selfish and unfair to her. She is an incredible dog that was just dealt a horrible hand. Is there anyone that would consider taking her under their wing? She is a blessing and just needs someone with the resources to care for her in a way that I can't. Please let me know if you are interested, or have any thoughts or opinions. Thank you. |
